Prior to Bayswater, she held various positions in international insurance companies and multinational corporations, such as AON, Direct Asia, Tokio Marine Singapore, Chubb Insurance and Marsh & Mclennan. She started out in her career as an financial auditor with Pricewater-houseCoopers, Singapore.

Margeret has a attained a honours degree in accounting from of Nanyang Technolohical University of Singapore, and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants
