RAYMOND FUNG

Mr Raymond Fung is the founder and Managing Director of BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.

Raymond has an extensive experience in Accounting & Taxation, Business Advisory, Risk & Compliance and Fund Operations.

Prior to setting up BaselCorp Pte. Ltd, he was a team manager handling institutional investment funds compliance and trustee operations for Citibank. He was also a finance lead in a governmental ministry and an auditor in a Singapore audit firm.

Raymond served as a non-executive director for various private companies. He is also the advisor and director to various international non-profit organization set up by the Oil and Gas Safety Council and medical associations. He is currently the honorary chairman for Global Chinese Societies Exchange Association.

Raymond has a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Margeret Khoo

Ms. Margeret Khoo is currently the director of BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.

Margeret oversees BaselCorp’s accounting & tax services and corporate services.

Prior to BaselCorp, she held various positions in international insurance companies and multinational corporations, such as AON, Direct Asia, Tokio Marine Singapore, Chubb Insurance, and Marsh & Mclennan. She started out in her career as a financial auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Singapore.

Margeret has attained a honours degree in accounting from of Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants

Darren Tan

Mr. Darren Tan is the Director of BaselCorp Pte. Ltd overseeing the business development of the business.

In the year 2007, Darren started his business venture in Marketing. Within a period of 4 years, he clocked a total revenue of S$8.9 million.

With his years of experience in business consulting, marketing, financing, and business development. He holds a proven track record of raising tens of millions for investment and businesses.

Graduating from the University of London with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance, Darren is also the founding partner for multiple companies in various industries over the years.

He was awarded “2010 Successful Entrepreneur” (Platinum Category), “2011 SME1 Asia Awards (Emerging Award) in which he was featured in Global Business Magazine, Channel News Asia, and Phoenix Satellite TV interviews.

Lu Jianing

Ms Lu Jianing is currently the director for accounting and tax services in BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.

She started her career as an auditor with EY, managing engagements in industries such as manufacturing, real estate, food & beverage, transportation and investment management.

Jianing has attained an honours degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and is a Chartered Accountant.

Charlie Wong

Mr Charlie Wong is the Director for Business Development (China) in BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.​ Prior to joining BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.​, Charlie was the Director for Study Abroad and Immigration in Guangzhou HCYY Consultants Co. and Overseas Director for Study Abroad and Immigration in Shenzhen Renhe Overseas Investment Services Co. Ltd (Guangzhou Branch).

Charlie holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Lancashire.

Raymond Cheung

Mr Raymond Cheung is the Director for Risk and Compliance in BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.​

Raymond has around 15 years of consulting and corporate experience in the insurance industry.  He focuses  on  advisory  and  trainings  for  financial  institutions  in  enterprise  risk management (ERM), actuarial risk based capital framework and corporate governance in Asia. His core expertise includes ERM framework and Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process implementation, actuarial pricing  and  reserving,  capital  modelling,  credit  rating advisory, business strategy development, as well as compliant and regulatory development in Asia. He was previously the Chief Risk Officer for AIG Asia Pacific and a regional reinsurer, before starting his consulting business in 2014.

Raymond is actively involved in the Singapore Actuarial Society, holding the appointments of Honorary Secretary, Chairman of ERM Committee, Chairman of Risk-Based Capital 2 (RBC2) Taskforce and Chairman of the ORSA Working Party. He is a lecturer for Risk Management, for the Insurance Management Associate Programme (IMAP) Advanced Diploma and the ASEAN School for Young Insurance Managers (AYIM) programme, both accredited under the Singapore College of Insurance.

Lim Ket Onn

Mr Lim Ket Onn is currently the manager for accounting services in BaselCorp Pte Ltd.

Prior to joining BaselCorp Pte Ltd, Ket Onn had 6 years of external audit experience working with international audit firms. His experience includes managing engagements ranging from listed companies, multinational companies, crypto and blockchain, Non-profit organizations (NGO) and small and medium entities such as construction & property development, hotel, education, manufacturing, investment holding, information technology, logistics services and shipping.

Ket Onn holds an honours degree in accounting and completed the professional qualifications of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK).

Shianny Ong

Ms. Shianny Ong is the Assistant Manager for accounting services in BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.

Shianny started her career as an accountant in the pharmaceutical industry in Malaysia. She further developed her career in Singapore as Finance Manager in an accounting firm in 2015.

Shianny has attained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from University of Teesside and is an associate member of Certified Practising Accountant Australia. 

Jaclyn Dok

Ms Jaclyn Dok is the Manager of BaselCorp Pte. Ltd, overseeing the corporate services.

Jaclyn graduated from the Victory University of Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce & Administration in Accounting and Commercial Law.

Jaclyn has 10 years of experience in accounting, taxation and corporate secretarial services. 

She is currently pursuing the ISCA Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (CGQP) which is accredited by the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI).

Tan Jian Yuan

Mr Tan Jian Yuan is the Adviser to Fund Management in BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.​

Jian Yuan is the CEO of Lucerne Asset Management and has served in relationship management and credit analysis roles across a number of institutions, including HSBC, ANZ, and Standard Chartered Bank. His coverage spanned from mid to large cap companies, both local and international. He has experience in cash management, trade, markets and investment products.

Jian Yuan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Corporate Finance, and Money & Banking, with a minor in Business Law.

Kennedy Chen

Mr Kennedy Chen is the Legal Adviser for BaselCorp Pte. Ltd.​

Kennedy is a legal practitioner of Harry Elias LLP with more than a decade of experience. He is a corporate transactions and commercial legal practitioner. His practice broadly covers transactions and commercial legal advisory matters, with emphasis on cross border M&A and joint ventures, restructuring, debt or capital markets, banking finance, private-public partnerships, post-merger integration and company law advisory matters.

Fully proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin, Kennedy has served stakeholders from Singapore, the US, the UK, Europe, Greater China, Japan, Myanmar, Indonesia, and other Asia-Pacific regions. 

Kennedy graduated from the National University of Singapore with honours, then practised at a top Singapore law firm and thereafter at a leading US firm.
